Jungle Jim will challenge the children to see if they have what it takes to be a hero. Volunteers from the audience will be transformed (with balloons, of course) into traditional superheroes the kids know and identify with: Batman, Wonder Woman and the like. Jim then goes into a group exercise - the Spiderman web challenge, which involves snaring the whole audience into a giant web.

The show progresses to talk about the heroes in our daily lives: policemen, teachers, firefighters, nurses, librarians. What is it about them that makes them heroes? Who are the heroes in the children’s lives?

Lastly, as a reward for the children completing their superhero challenge, Jungle Jim will overcome his own fear and attempt to climb inside of a 6-foot balloon!
