How much space do you need?
For our birthday party party performances, we are well adept at working in smaller spaces. Most of our birthday parties take place in living rooms, playrooms and the like. We need a place for the children to sit, and a performance area measuring approximately 3 feet by 4 feet.

Should we have the children sit in chairs?
Please don’t. Our performances work much better when the children sit as a group on the floor or the ground.

How much set up time do you require?
For Star Wars birthday parties, we require no set up time.
For Harry Potter birthday parties, we require 5 minutes of set up time
For Jungle Jim’s Wild About Balloons Birthday Party, we require 10 minutes of set up time
For performances with more than 30 children, we require a minimum of 30 minutes of set up time

How many children can I invite to a birthday party?
We recommend 10 – 15 children for an optimal birthday party. We can certainly accommodate more children. Please let us know at the time of booking.

What will the performer wear?
The performer wears a costume appropriate to the theme of the event.

How long have you been in business?
7 years

How many birthday parties have you performed at?
We’ve performed at over 500 birthday parties

How many events do you do on an average weekend?
We typically perform at 4 – 8 events a weekend

What sets you apart from your competition?
What separates us from other entertainers such as clowns or magicians is our original material specifically written for birthday parties; our skill as balloon artists and family entertainers; and our skill in entertaining yet keeping in order a large group of children.

How far in advance should we book Jungle Jim’s?
Typically clients book us 1 – 3 months before an event. We usually have a few weekend times available as we get closer to a particular date; however the most popular times such as weekend afternoons tend to go more quickly.

Can you provide me with some references?
Yes! Please contact us for recent references.

How much does it cost?
We only offer quotes through phone, email or carrier pigeon. Please contact us today!

How much is the deposit and when is it due? When is the final payment due?
We require a 50% deposit on all events. Final payment is due the day of the event.

Do you charge a travel fee?
We charge a travel fee for events farther than one hour from Zip Code 02139 according to Google Maps.

What is your refund policy if for some reason I need to cancel or alter my date?
Deposits are non-refundable two weeks after booking. You may change the date of your event contingent on our availability.

What if bad weather causes me to cancel my event?
We make every effort to be at an event when bad weather hits. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be used for a future event up to one calendar year from the date of the original event. You may change the date of your event contingent on our availability.

Do you have video of your performance?
Yes! Here’s video from a recent birthday party:

Will you need electricity for the day of the performance?
At smaller performances such as birthday parties and line twisting (twisting for a large number of guests), we do not require electricity. Larger performances, such as summer reading programs at libraries, school performances and in general audiences larger than 30 children, we do require electricity.
