• How far do you travel?
  • For private venues, most of our work is within a 75- minute drive from Boston, MA.
  • For larger shows, such as libraries, schools, summer camps and the like, we are available to travel from Maine to the Washington, D.C. area.  Block booking is available. 
    
    
• Can we videotape Jungle Jim shows and birthday parties?
  • No Videotaping of any kind is permitted without Express Written Permission from a representative of Jungle Jim’s.
    
    
• What type of venues is your show appropriate for?
  • We provide entertainment for the following venues:

• What are the appropriate ages for your balloons?
  • Our birthday parties are geared towards ages 3 - 5, 6 - 8 and 9 - 12.  Our Balloon-iversity program is great for ages 9 - 17 and adults.  We deliver large balloon sculptures (3 - 10 feet tall) for organizations looking to promote an event with a specific theme, or individuals wishing to show a creative and unique appreciation of their loved ones.  Most of our Santa Claus visits are for private events, or office gift delivery.
    
    
• How long is a Jungle Jim show?
  • Our shows range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the type of event.

• Why should I hire you over other entertainers?
  • What separates us from other entertainers such as clowns or magicians is our unique expertise with balloons, our experience entertaining little humans and our ability to make each audience member feel like a special part of our shows.
    
    
• What is your cancellation policy?
  • You may cancel without penalty up to sixty days before your event.  Within sixty days, the deposit is non-refundable.  In the case of illness or inclement weather, rescheduling may be permitted if desired date and time is available.
    
    
• What if something happens to a Jungle Jim’s performer before an event?
  • In many years of business, we have never cancelled a booking due to illness or any similar issue.  We have a trusted network of entertainers that if in an extremely rare situation we needed help for your event, this network would assist us to make sure we wer are able to provide great entertainment for your event.
    
    
• What days and times are you available for bookings?
  • We are available seven days a week at whatever time entertainment is needed.
    
    
• Do you ever donate your services?
  • We do on occasion work with local non-profits or charities.  With entertainment, we support the work of Our Place, a daycare center for homeless children.  If you work with a non-profit looking for entertainment for children on a regular basis, please contact us.• We prefer not to donate a birthday party or other hours unless the organization has hired us for a paid event in the last twelve months.  Also, please note that it is difficult for us to donate performance time during peak periods such as weekend afternoons.
    
    
• How many balloons can you make?
  • At last count, Jungle Jim knew how to make over 500 balloon sculptures!
    
    
• Are balloon environmentally friendly?
  • Latex balloons are produced from the sap of the rubber tree. It is collected without harming the tree by using an environmentally safe, age-old process similar to that used for collecting the sap from maple trees for syrup. Because of rubber’s versatility and demand, these tropical rain forest trees are very valuable, highly coveted — and well-protected natural resources. These precious trees play an equally valuable ecological role in the earth’s fragile ecological balance by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere which helps prevent global warming.
    
    A latex balloon is made from 100 percent organic material and it’s 100 percent biodegradable. Stress caused by inflation starts this decomposition cycle. Exposure to sunlight accelerates the process — oxygen and ozone continue the molecular attack even in the dark. Deterioration is clearly evident within a few hours — it begins to oxidize or “frost” — and soon the balloon will break apart. • How large a group can you perform for?  Is there an additional charge for more than 20 children?
  • Jungle Jim’s shows can be performed for audiences as large as 300 families or for just a few guests.
